KAF Mourns the Loss of Board of Trustees Member Jassim Al-Kharafi

It is with a deep sense of sadness that the Kuwait-America Foundation announces the passing of one of its esteemed board members, Mr. Jassim Al-Kharafi.

Mr. Al-Kharafi was a compassionate private citizen and dedicated public citizen. Pursuant to his passion for politics, Mr. Al-Kharafi served for 13 years, until 2011, as speaker of the Kuwaiti National Assembly. He was a trusted member of the Board of the Kuwait-America Foundation, serving on the Board of Trustees from its inception until his passing. The Kuwait-America Foundation will doubtless feel the void left in Mr. Al-Kharafi's absense. Condolences and prayers go out to his beloved family and friends, and all those whose lives he touched.
