KAF Mourns the Loss of Board of Trustees Member His Excellency Abdul-Rahman Al-Ateeqi

It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of our esteemed Board of Trustees member His Excellency Abdul-Rahman Al-Ateeqi, may God have mercy on his soul. We send our deepest condolences to his family and friends, and to all of his loved ones around the world.

Mr. Al-Ateeqi had a long and distinguished career, serving his home country in a number of prominent roles, including Advisor to His Royal Highness the Amir of Kuwait since 1981. He previously served as Minister of Finance, Director of Police, and Director of Health, and as the first Ambassador of Kuwait to the United States. Mr. Al-Ateeqi also served as Chairman of the Board of Investcorp, and was the Founder and Head of the Kuwaiti Charity Organization for Care of the Handicapped. His contributions to Kuwait and to the world are innumerable.
